Stainless steel angle bar (angled profile) products.
Angle is an L-section profile whose two legs are usually at 90°. Equal-leg and unequal-leg types exist; besides hot rolled production, thinner angles formed by bending from plate are also used. EN 10088-3 and ASTM A276/A479 are referred to for the material, and EN 10056-1 for dimensions.
It is used in structural frames, shelving and brackets, machine construction, edge protection and corner reinforcement. In food and chemical plants stainless is chosen for load-bearing members that need corrosion resistance; 304 is the general choice and 316 is for chloride environments. Joining is by welding or stainless fasteners.
Thickness, size and tolerance values vary by product form; exact values are confirmed during the quotation.

Shelving, frames, machine construction and food plant steelwork.
Chemical plants, coastal, poolside and chloride-exposed construction.
Support members indoors where the corrosion load is low. Limited in thick welded structures.
Rolled angle is produced from a section by hot rolling and generally offers thick walls and standard sizes. Bent angle is made by press-braking plate or sheet; size and wall thickness can be freely chosen, but the inside corner radius and tolerance differ.
By leg lengths and wall thickness: 40x40x4 mm is an angle with two 40 mm legs and a 4 mm wall. For unequal legs it is written like 60x40x5. The length is specified separately.
Both are austenitic grades. 316 contains roughly 2 - 2.5% molybdenum, which raises resistance to chloride and pitting corrosion. In food plant construction 304 is generally sufficient; in coastal and chloride-exposed structures 316 is preferred.
A stainless part joined with carbon steel bolts and nuts risks rust marks and galvanic corrosion in damp conditions. That is why stainless fasteners compatible with the base material are generally chosen; in ISO 3506, class A2 corresponds to 304-type and class A4 to 316-type stainless.
